Lance Corporal Schmuckatelli is not necessarily an original character, and this Marine lives prominently within Marine Corps lore. He is notorious for making poor decisions, among not representing the Marine Corps in the brightest light, and for that reason, he is represented as such. Despite this, he still wears the Purple Heart and Combat Action Ribbon on his Service Charlie uniform, possibly hinting at the traumatization that has caused him to lose some sanity.
